Ensure that you are using proper form to avoid injury.

Treadmills

Treadmills are a great way to increase your heart rate and burn calories. If you have access to a treadmill, you can use it for walking, running, or sprinting. If you don't have access to a new one, you could get a second hand treadmill for a good price and if needed get it fixed (eg, from this fitness equipment repair in Atlanta).

When working on a treadmill, keeping your posture in mind is essential. Make sure that you are standing up straight and not hunched over. For beginners, I recommend griping the handrails lightly. Don’t hold them too tightly can cause strain on your wrists and elbows. Also, ensure that you get the right treadmill for your needs. If you plan on running or sprinting, you will need a treadmill with a higher speed limit. However, if you are only planning on walking, a lower-speed treadmill will suffice.

You can also find elliptical workouts designed to be done in a certain amount of time, so you can challenge yourself to see how long you can last.

Running is a great way to exercise and doesn't require a gym membership. You can run indoors or outdoors, depending on your preference. If you are running outdoors, dress appropriately for the weather and wear appropriate running shoes.
